Jo Leir is the founder and president of BetterShot Photography, based out of Amery, Wisconsin. A freelance professional nature photographer, Jo Leir developed her interest in ecosystems and biology at an early age, teaching natural and life sciences for the past 15 years.

She has traveled extensively and infuses her devotion to nature, animals, and the environment in to her pictures. Working to capture adventure, exploration, learning and beauty with each image, she believes the power and vitality of the natural world can be both modern and timeless.
